Trolley Departure Times from The Barbey Trolley Depot are:
10:30, 11:15, 12:00, 12:45, 1:30, 2:15, 3:00, 3:45, 4:30, & 5:15
Catch any trolley back to Barbey Trolley Depot from the North Pole on Pier 39.
Last departure call is at 7:00pm. Final sweep is 7:30pm.

Saturday, Dec. 20
2042 Marine Drive, Astoria [just east of the Maritime Museum]
10:15am: First trolley boards at the Barbey Trolley Depot behind the Barbey Maritime Center for a 10:30am departure. The trolley is unable to run in inclement weather, but there is a back-up bus plan in place.
11-3pm: Get your holiday photo taken! One professional photograph is included for trolley riders this year, courtesy of Justin Grafton Studios. Take a framed color photo home & order additional prints through their app!
10-7pm: Spend some time putting a community Christmas puzzle together at the puzzle table.
10-7pm: Enjoy a few scenes or an entire holiday movie. We’ll be streaming classics like Miracle on 34th Street, It’s a Wonderful Life, and Bishop’s Wife.
10-7pm: Decorate a paper gingerbread house to take home at our craft table.
10-7pm: Write a Christmas card to someone you care about at our Card Creation Table, or drop a letter to Santa in our special mailbox. Choose from several designs.
5:15pm: Pajama themed trolley ride! Wear your favorite PJ’s and bring your favorite stuffy friend along.
5:15pm: LAST TROLLEY departure for the NORTH POLE on PIER 39.
7:45pm: BARBEY TROLLEY DEPOT CLOSES.
Saturday, Dec. 20
NORTH POLE on PIER 39
100 39th Street, Astoria - [extra parking in Hampton Inn lot on 39th]
10:45am: First trolley arrives at THE NORTH POLE on Pier 39.
11-3pm: THE GRINCH sightings! Ask him to take a picture with you!
10-7pm: Festive baked goods, hot cocoa and cider can be purchased from the Whoville Welcome Booth. Plus local vendors will be featuring hand-crafted gifts and artisan delights, and the Uppertown Business Association GINGERBREAD EMPORIUM tent will offer candies, small toys, and keepsake trolley ornaments and stickers.
11-6:30pm: STORYTIME THEATER with interactive musical sing-along in the Event Space. Approximate showtimes are on the hour, every hour starting at 11am: 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, and last show at 6pm. The Trolley will wait for the last performance to end before departing, if we’re running behind schedule.
***** At 1:00 and 4:00pm, the readings will be performed by special guest Bea Yeh Ogden, Great-Great-Great-Granddaughter of the author of The Night Before Christmas (Clement Clark Moore)!*****
7pm: LAST TROLLEY LEAVES THE NORTH POLE, BACK TO THE BARBEY TROLLEY DEPOT (we will wait for the last group if the schedule is behind).

Erin Lehn (The Joy Warrior) aka Kristine Kringle, is reading The Night Before Christmas again this year! Her Band of Merry Makers behind the curtain, offer fun sound effect surprises to delight the audience in these special performances. Erin will be leading sing-along carols and performing her own song entitled, That New Song For Christmas, complete with instruments for the audience to participate.
